With the news today on Deepseek and how it affected the markets especially NVIDIA, and how certain asks of Deepseek were not answered with questions pertaining to some historical events about China & Taiwan is that possibly a negative for Deepseek? Obviously costs are important to all companies but will that be overlooked to sacrifice factual data for speed and convenience?

Good questions. IMO it was no surprise that there was censorship around what the model could and could not say regarding Chinese leadership. Coming out of China, this makes sense. It naturally raises questions around if we are doing similar things in the states. I'm sure it's true to some level but not exactly sure how much.

Ultimately each company is going to have to decide what level of risk they are willing to take when it comes to these tools. A lot of this risk will also likely be absorbed by the AI companies themselves to help speed up adoption.
